December 2014 Graze Box Review & Giveaway

Graze Box

Graze is a company that wants to revolutionize your snacking. They provide small portions of snacks that have big flavor. The company prides itself on working with small companies and using sustainable packaging. They work to create interesting flavor combinations that are fun, interesting, and healthy. Graze was my first subscription box ever, and I was pleasantly surprised. Keep reading for a giveaway below.

Price: $6.99 per box
Groupon has a deal for Graze boxes going on until Christmas for new customers. You can get 4 boxes for $14 (that's about 1/2 price).

Frequency: Weekly (but you can choose when it is delivered, so you can pause your box for as long as you want.)

Details: Regular Graze boxes include 4 different snack size portions. They do have a larger size available that includes full size portions of snacks. You can choose to have a regular Graze box, or the calorie counter version (all snacks under 150 calories). When you sign up, you can browse the foods they offer and decide if it's something you want to try or trash. Both sweet and savory snacks are included. After you try the snacks in your box, you can go on the website and rate your selections.

Pros: The snacks are fun and really tasty. I love that the company is so eco-conscious and that they actively work with small businesses. The service is affordable, and the website is easy to use. If you have specific food allergies, the company will accommodate you. There's a great referral system, and referral credits can either earn $ off a box or be donated to charity.

Cons: You don't get to choose exactly what you're getting. That's not such a con for me, because I love the surprise. It might be for some people, though. If you have a nut allergy, I'm not sure this company would be a great choice for you, because they are not a peanut-free facility.

The Black Pepper Pistachios were really tasty. I could tell that they'd chosen really high quality nuts to start with, and the pepper just complimented their taste, rather than completely overpowering it. Warning: these were definitely spicy.

The Cherries & Berries were tasty, but not anything really unusual. They were really similar to any dried fruit you can get at the grocery store. I'd eat them again, but I wasn't blown away by these.

Oh. My. Gosh. The Banana Caramel dippers were SO good! The wafers were just the right mix of crisp and crumbly. They were slightly sweet, but not cloyingly so. I was a little afraid that the caramel would taste really processed, but it didn't . I would absolutely order these on their own. My only complaint was that there weren't very many of these. Maybe that's not such a bad thing, though, because I would have scarfed them all down.

The El Picante blend was spicy and wonderful. They reminded me of a great Gardettos-type mix. They were crunchy, flavorful, and not overly spicy. Verdict: LOVE!

Now for what you've been waiting for. Drum roll... a GIVEAWAY! Since this is my first review post and Graze was my first subscription box, I want you to join in the fun. One lucky reader will be receiving their own Graze box. Enter below using Giveaway tools.
